MovieCoin, founded by American financier Christopher Woodrow is a financial technology company that finances portfolio of movies and entertainment projects by using cryptocurrency has announced its public presale which started on September 17th.
Woodrow, who is no newbie to Hollywood, has financed and produced a number of notable feature films including box office hits like Black Mass and Hacksaw Ridge, as well as the critically acclaimed hit Birdman.
Before this a private sale was conducted which collected around 2,000 BTC. Meanwhile the public presale is expected to reach its hard cap of 10,000 BTC.
The two tokens that will be issued in the public presale are “MovieCoin Utility Token (MOV) with total supply of 2 billion sold at 0.11 USD per token and the “MovieCoin Smart Fund (MSF) Security Token with total supply of 250 million sold at 1 USD per token.
In the public presale, MovieCoin will accept Bitcoin, Ethereum and Bankex (BKX). A minimum investment of 5 BTC or alternative equivalent is required to participate.
The Public Presale will end on October 30 at 12:00 AM PST.

The public token sale will begin on November 1st and conclude on November 25, 2018. To participate investors should register at www.movie.io. Participants must go through the Know Your Customer (KYC) process before investing.
