Tokeny has recently launched investorID in Europe, a market-driven decentralized application which allows investors to generate their on-chain identity in order to access and trade compliant tokenized securities. Tokeny is a Luxembourg based fintech company and a market-leader in delivering an institutional grade, secure end-to-end platform, allowing for the issuance and servicing management of tokenized securities.

How investorID Works

The platform targets to help security token issuers to gather info about which investors are eligible for their offering and will also allow investors to quickly know which investments they can access. Once an investor has created its identity, they will be able to reuse and access multiple tokenized securities with increased ease, speed and cost efficiency. Privacy is respected on the platform as participants will have complete control of their data and can give and restrict access to it accordingly. investorID inherits an easy recovery process, where users cannot lose their identity or their assets linked to it.

Final Comments

Tokeny CEO, Luc Falempin stated, “By creating investorID, issuers can act in full confidence that their securities are being accessed and traded compliantly. There wasn’t a solution on the market that accurately identifies the different stakeholders on the blockchain infrastructure, but it is a mandatory piece in order to apply securities laws in Europe.”

Luc added, “On the buy-side, It’s fundamental for investors to know they are respecting the necessary rules and regulations in relation to security trading. investorID relieves this worry and enables individuals and financial institutions to seamlessly create their on-chain and validated identity. This allows investors to trade tokenized securities in total confidence.”
